Parking and Train Update for Champions Cup Semi-Final

Parking and Train information for the Ricoh Arena

Parking and Train information for the Ricoh Arena

All roads lead to Coventry on April 20th at 3PM as Munster do battle with Saracens for a place in the Champions Cup final.

The MRSC expect to have full ticket details soon and this information will be shared with members immediately. Please see below information regarding parking at the Ricoh and news of train disruption.

Parking

There is a 2km resident’s permit zone in operation surrounding the arena, meaning that you cannot park on any of the streets without having a permit. This is enforced by Coventry City Council who do regular patrols and issue parking tickets on the day. There has also been a change of Management Company at the large Tesco car park next door, which strictly enforces a no more than 2 hour stay regulation on a match day. They use an ANPR system and a £100 fine

Supporters are advised to book their spaces online at www.ricoharenaparking.co.uk in advance of the game as spaces will be very difficult to obtain on the day of the game.

Trains.

There will be no direct rail services from London to Coventry on Easter Saturday for the game and no direct rail services from Birmingham  New Street to Coventry because of planned engineering works. Bus services will replace rail services from Birmingham International to Coventry and Rugby.

Passengers travelling from London will be routed via Chiltern Railways services from London Marylebone to Leamington Spa, but the hourly rail service that operates between Leamington Spa and Coventry has limited capacity. This will also be supplemented by a bus service. The Coventry to Nuneaton West Midland Rail service which calls at Coventry Arena has limited capacity and supporters should try and use alternative transport to get to the stadium rather then use this service.

If supporters plan to use rail for part of their journey the are urged to leave plenty of time to get to the stadium and Check before they travel via www.nationalrail.co.uk website.
