La Rochelle Supporter Zone Details

Hello Everybody,

Your Munster Rugby Supporters Club Committee has truly embraced the phrase “go big or go home” with an exciting announcement about our very own meeting zone in La Rochelle!

Over the past few years, we’ve witnessed a remarkable increase in away traveling support for our Champions Cup Games. Events like meeting our team when they arrive at the ground have become standout memories for all of us. Our allocation for La Rochelle was instantly oversubscribed many times over, so we faced the challenge of creating a special meeting area for us all to make our weekend in La Rochelle as memorable as possible for our large travelling Support,

After connecting and collaborating extensively with Pepe Bourdel, owner of the General Humbert’s Bar in the old town of La Rochelle, and local business owners, we are thrilled to share that we have a full street, square, and the surroundings of Saint Nicolas Quarter formally organized and dedicated to us for the weekend.

The following bars, restaurants, and takeaways will be participating, offering us Munster Red Supporter deals and late opening hours (we’ll share more details on this in the coming weeks). These establishments will be easy to find along our Munster-bannered and flag-covered area of the beautiful town, which will turn red for us.
