Heineken Cup Reunion Holiday – The Winner!

The Munster Rugby Supporters Club, in conjunction with Munster Sports Travel, ran a competition to send one lucky member on the trip of a lifetime with the victorious 2006 Munster Rugby winning squad for their 10 year celebration under the sun!

The lucky winner was none other than long time member Mairéad Horan, who works in the Department of Special Education in Mary Immaculate College in Limerick.

Mairéad will be jetting off with her husband John on the team plane to Faro Airport for 3 nights half board at the 5* Rompido Hotel in Spain. There they will be able to enjoy all the hotel and the surrounding area have to offer with two rounds of golf on the house. Not only this but they will get to enjoy a replay of the match during a special event with guest pundits from the 2006 winning team and entertainment.

Mairéad was delighted to receive the prize; "When I heard the news I was ecstatic, it was like winning the Heineken Cup all over!!!! The overall feeling was surprise and delight to find out I was the lucky winner and my colleagues at Mary Immaculate College were thrilled to hear that I will be travelling to sunny Spain. I have promised everyone to take loads of photos to share when I get home! (I don't know about taking photos really, I just intend on relaxing!)"
