Get Involved With The Munster March

Munster Rugby and adidas are inviting supporters to participate in the Munster March on Saturday, December 9th at 3.20pm ahead of our Champions Cup clash with Bayonne in Thomond Park.

Munster Rugby and adidas are inviting supporters to participate in the Munster March on Saturday, December 9th at 3.20pm ahead of our Champions Cup clash with Bayonne in Thomond Park.

What is the Munster March?

The Munster March aims to bring together Munster supporters of all ages to march one mile from Limerick City Centre to Thomond Park to raise awareness of the club’s commitment to environmental sustainability and climate action and to enhance the start of the matchday experience for what promises to be another memorable European day at Thomond Park.

Small steps taken together can mean huge strides forward in the club’s collective ability to affect positive change.

We want as many MRSC members as possible to march with us, sing our songs, fly our flags, and meet the team as they get off the bus before kick-off.

Where will the Munster March take place?

The Munster March will begin at the Richard Harris statue on Bedford Row in Limerick City Centre at 3:20PM on December 9th.

We will march one mile to the East Stand at Thomond Park to meet the team when they arrive at the stadium.

Track your journey and win prizes.

For supporters who want to go the extra mile, Munster Rugby and adidas are giving you the chance to win exclusive prizes. When travelling to Limerick, whether you join us at the start of the March in the City Centre, filter onto the Red Mile route along the way, or go direct to Thomond Park, look for alternatives to typical car journeys from where you live by walking, cycling and public transport.

Or, if travelling big distances and from areas with limited travel options, team up with friends to share lifts to fill up the car. Any small changes can make a difference through our collective action.

Track each leg of your journey from the start in the Ciclogreen app for your chance to win.

Where can I read more about Munster’s commitment to environmental sustainability and climate action?

Munster Rugby recently released an environmental impact and sustainability report having signed up to the UN Climate Action Framework.

What do I need to do?

Wear red, meet us at at the Richard Harris statue on Bedford Row in Limerick City Centre at 3:30PM or join the March on the Red Mile along the way in Limerick on December 9th.

March and sing with the rest of the Red Army and support our club the way we always have.

We are also delighted to announce that there will be a DJ in the MRSC bar after the Bayonne game to round off what promises to be a fantastic day.

SUAF.
