The London Branch of the MRSC are running day return buses from London to Cardiff for the Ireland v France game on Sunday 11th October and both Quarter Finals in Cardiff on Saturday 17th October and Sunday 18th October. For the Quarter Final weekend only there will also be an overnight option which means you can travel down on Saturday 17th and return on Sunday 18th.

The London Branch have already run successful trips to Cardiff for the warm-up game against Wales and Ireland's first RWC2015 game against Canada. Based on those trips they will be making a few changes to the service but ultimately the goal is to ensure that all passengers arrive in Cardiff at least 90 minutes before kick-off and depart within 90 minutes of the full time whistle. Where possible buses will run at different times back from Cardiff to accommodate everyone who has booked in advance.

The experience from the Canada game has shown that the bus options can be a much better alternative for travelling supporters due to the significant numbers using the other road and rail options available.

Departure Points:

There will be a departure point in Central London (near Temple Tube Station) and one in West London (Hammersmith Apollo, near Hammersmith tube), both beside tube stations.

Timings:

Exact timings will be confirmed the week of the game.

Ireland -v- France – Sunday, October 11th

The Coaches will be aiming to depart from London between 9 and 10am. The first return bus will aim to leave around 7.45pm with staggered returns after that. The quickest bus took just 4 hours returning from the Canada match. Bearing this in mind, there is no guarantee that people will be back in London for the last tubes on a Sunday night (11.30pm) but the best effort will be made to do just that.

For 1/4 Final Weekend:

Timings and departure areas will be finalised after the last pool game. Early indications are Saturday departure about 1.30pm/Sunday departure 7am with first returns from Cardiff 11pm/4pm respectively.

Cost:

Day return services are priced as follows:
£30 (€;42) for members and £35 (€;49) for non members

Overnight Service (Dep: Saturday 17th October Rtn: Sunday 18th October only)
£36 (€;50.50) for members and £41 (€;57.50) for non-members

Bookings can be made by logging into your MRSC account here or by contacting mrsclondon@munsterrugby.ie.
