Munster face Gloucester on Friday, Jan 11th @ 19:45pm.
The demand for tickets to this crucial game from Munster Supporters both at home and abroad indicates a sizable portion of the Red Army will march on Kingsholm!
The MRSC have appointed three official meeting points for this game, all within a short distance of each other and minutes from Kingsholm Stadium, along with referencing some other venues that you may wish to visit over the weekend. The venues are listed below.
Our History
For the 2018/2019 Champions Cup Munster once again are drawn against one of our favourite sides; Gloucester Rugby.
Our history in these fixtures across the years range from the infamous “Miracle Match” to an away Quarter Final in 2008 that featured tries from Ian Dowling and Doug Howlett as Munster made their way to a 2nd European title. Gloucester is now the home of former Munster 2nd Row, Gerbrandt Grobler.
Munster have faced Gloucester 8 times in European fare with Munster leading the stats on 6 wins to 2.
Munster secured a 36-22 bonus point victory when the two sides met at Thomond Park back in October.

Spartans will once again welcome Munster Supporters, having previously hosted Munster Supporters in 2014, and will have a number of specials for Munster Rugby Supporters , the venue is family friendly and food will also be available.
Open from Midday on Friday 11th.
The Coach & Horses, 2-4 St Catherine St, Gloucester GL1 2BX
The Coach & Horses will once again host Munster Supporters as in 2014 also. This venue will have pulled pork baps available on Matchday. It also houses the Cider Tree, producing its own Ciders. This venue is also Family Friendly – Children must be off premises by 10pm.

Cafe Rene carries a 24hr license and will have live music following the match. This venue provides food and beverage deals on an ongoing basis. Ask in the venue for details.

Tiger’s Eye is Gloucester’s first Hot Rock Grill restaurant occupying the two floors of “Old Bell” a listed Inn dating back to the 17th Century. Will offer steak and a pInt on Friday £10. Again a family friendly Venue. Offers are subject to availability and capacity of the venue.

Getting There
By Plane
Airports of Birmingham and Bristol are close by have frequent connections to Gloucester by rail (Bristol requires transport to rail station, bus, by transfer or direct means. Those arriving on Friday afternoon may be better served with private transport.
Things To Do
Have some time to spare whilst supporting Munster in Gloucester? As the game is on Friday evening, sme may have time to meander around before or after the game, or indeed some may extend their weekend. Some non Rugby based activities may be of interest.
