Following this afternoon’s Pool Draw, top seeds Munster will face familiar opposition in next season’s Champions Cup, drawn against Racing 92, Leicester Tigers and Castres Olympique in Pool 4.

Prior to the main draw, Munster were one of two domestic league runners up sides drawn into Tier 1, alongside Premiership runners up Wasps with Toulon remaining in Tier 2.

Donnacha Ryan and Ronan O’Gara will come face to face with their old club when Munster take on Racing 92 for the second consecutive season, while the province and Leicester share a pool for the third consecutive season. Munster face Castres in the Champions Cup for the first time since 2011/12.

The draw took place in the last ten minutes in Neuchatel, Switzerland, and was conducted by Champions Cup winners Austin Healy and Ieuan Evans.
