Tickets start from €;20 for Adults, €;40 for Families and €;7 for Juniors and are available to buy:

  • from the Munster Rugby Ticket Offices at Thomond Park and Irish Independent Park, or
  • by calling 061 42110
  • from the ticket office in Thomond Park from 9am on matchday.

Pre-Match & Half-Time

We welcome the MRSC Choir who will perform before kick-off along with Jean Wallace.  The MRSC Guard of Honour will be present to welcome the teams onto the pitch. Our half-time mini rugby display will feature Old Christians V Tramore RFC and Shannon RFC V Ennis RFC. There will also be a chance to win a Munster Rugby Jersey signed by the squad at half time.

Stadium Information

The MRSC Committee will be in the Pavillion on the Fanzone from 3pm until 4:45pm to talk to supporters about MRSC Memberships and Season Tickets for the 2017/18 Season. Call down to say hello and ask them any questions you have.

The MRSC Bar will be open through Door 18 on the West Stand from 3:30pm.

The brand new covered Pavilion on the Fan Zone will be open from 3pm with player meet and greets, Guinness Dug Out Bar and food from a wide range of artisan vendors.

There will be lots of activity in the Fan Zone including the Bank of Ireland Family Funzone which will be open for our younger supporters. Spin South West will be on location and our mascot Oscar is looking forward to meeting younger supporters. Plus put your rugby skills to the test in the ‘Tackle Cage Challenge’, ‘Tak’ Reaction Board and much more! The Munster Rugby Museum Experience will be open from 3.30pm, until before kick-off.

Don’t forget to pick up your matchday programme from one of our programme sellers for just €;4. Check out the team line-ups and hear from Director of Rugby Rassie Erasmus, Rhys Marshall, rising star Alex Wootton, and much more. You can also win a family pack of tickets to the PRO12 semi-final at Thomond Park in two weeks so make sure you pick up your copy.

The stadium turnstiles will be open from 3:45pm with all bars and food outlets inside the ground open at the same time.

‘Tap and go’ – Contactless payments are now available throughout Thomond Park for amounts up to €;30.
The Munster Rugby Stores will be open at the stadium with the East Stand store open from 12:30pm, and the Mobile unit outside the West Stand also open from 12:30pm.

After the game there will be live music from Tree’s Fall Down in the Pavilion on the Fan Zone, with bars and catering facilities in the fan zone also open after the game.

Please note:

  • No one will be able to enter the stadium with alcohol or glass and customers will be requested to remove the lids of any soft drink containers on entering the stadium.
  • Please do not enter the pitch area at any time and adhere to the stadium ground regulations found here.
  • There will be stewards and security on site to assist you with your enquiries on the day, and to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely, so please respect their requests.

Trains

Irish Rail have services from both Dublin and Cork to Limerick on the day of the match.

Buses

Bus Eireann  will run services to Limerick on the day of the match. The 302 public bus service from Henry street will also be in operation. Full details of times and fares are available at www.buseireann.ie

Dublin Coach provide a return bus service to Limerick from Dublin and Ennis, Killarney and Tralee. Fares vary between €;5 and €;10 one way with 2 kids u-12 traveling free with every paying adult. It is advised that all passengers book online to guarantee their seat for time of travel www.dublincoach.ie

CityLink provide a return bus service to Limerick from Cork and Galway. Fares for a return journey start at €;13.30 and can be booked online at http://www.citylink.ie/.
