Hi Junior Members,

I'm back to you again after a hectic few weeks!I hope you are all enjoying your Easter holidays and the great weather we're having!

Who was following the 6 Nations Championship? What a win for the boys! I was involved with the squad in Carton House for the campaign and travelled as an extra to the Italy game but with the competition for places as high as ever I was down the pecking order after coming back from injury. It was still a huge honour to be part of the squad, working so closely with Joe Schmidt and a special group of lads.

Of course, as you all know by now, our Captain, and my team mate and friend, Paul O'Connell got player of the Championship and it was well deserved! We were all so delighted for him, he is a great leader and it was just reward for the work he put in, he played every minute of every game in the Championship – I hope I'm going as well as that at his age 'cos let's face it, he's a freak of nature! Did you get to see him and Niamh Briggs with the 6 Nations winning trophies in Thomond Park last Saturday? What a proud day for Munster and Irish rugby!

When not involved with the Irish boys I was kept just as busy back in Munster and featured in the last five PRO12 games so I'm really getting a good run of it at the moment and feeling great. I've managed four 80 minute games which I'm really happy with and have been lucky to score three tries. Did you guys get to see any of the games?

The race to the final is getting tighter and harder as we fight for points wherever we can, and every game counts. We really want to get there and we hope you will be behind us all the way! We are back in Cork for our next game against Treviso and I know we will all be raring to go! The redevelopment looks really well and the atmosphere is better than ever so hopefully I'll see you guys there.

We signed up a new player, Francis Saili from New Zealand, over the weekend as well. We are very excited to have him on board and we know all you guys will make him feel very welcome to the Red Army!

Just before I go I want to say congratulations to Darragh Buckley from Cork who won our Mascot competition from the packs you received when you joined the Junior Club. Darragh led out the team with our Captain Denis Hurley against Connacht and did a great job! Make sure to keep an eye on your emails for more chances to win throughout the year.

Also this week I have something different for you guys – I am going to do an #AskKeith video especially for Junior Club members where I answer questions that you send in, so follow the details below and I hope to hear from you soon!

All the best,
Keith
