Exclusive MRSC Competition: Name The East Terrace

The roofing of the East Terrace was very generously funded by the Munster Rugby Supporters Club. As a thank you, we would like you to name it.

The Musgrave Park Redevelopment Project is well under way with building currently on schedule. The upgraded East Terrace is to be fully covered thanks to the contribution from the MRSC, while a new pitch perimeter fence replaces the wall, maximising spectator views and ensuring player safety.

Due to the generosity of the Supporters Club in facilitating the upgrade of the East Terrace, it has been decided that the MRSC should get to name it!

Therefore we have opened up a new competition, inviting suggestions for a great name which encompasses the history of the hallowed ground and the passion and pride of the supporters who helped build it. An event has been set up on the MRSC Facebook page HERE for you to enter. If you don’t have a Facebook account you can email your submission to ciaralyons@munsterrugby.ie with your MRSC number and we will upload it for you.

This competition is open to MRSC members only, therefore don’t forget to put your membership number in the post when you submit your suggestion.

The winning name will be heavily influenced by you, the Munster fan, so if you see a name you think would be apt for the old ‘East Terrace’ don’t forget to ‘like’ it to give it your vote. The closing date for entries is Friday the 7th of November.
