Ticket News Aug 2014

Please read the following information for news on tickets for upcoming games;

Leinster v Munster – Guinness PRO12, AVIVA Stadium, Saturday 4th October 2014 KO18.30

Tickets for this match are now on sale to all Full and Associate members.  Members may purchase up to 6 tickets each.

Tickets range in price from €;20 to €;60 and are available in the following sections;
€;60 – Block 121
€;55 – Block 522, 523, 527 and 528
€;20 – Block 519

Tickets are also available on public sale on Ticketmaster for any member who wishes to choose another category of ticket or a family pack.

A €;2.50 transaction fee applies per transaction.  All tickets will be posted to the shipping address entered at the time of placing your order.

• Click on the Member Login at the top of the page
• Enter your membership ID and password
• Click the Tickets tab

This sale will close on Friday 12^th September at 12noon.

Sale Sharks v Munster – European Champions Cup, AJ Bell Stadium, Sat 18^th October 2014 ko 1pm

Due to the limited capacity of the AJ Bell Stadium, the Supporters Club will receive an allocation of approximately 250 tickets for this match.

These tickets will be distributed as follows;

Full members with Combined Season Tickets (PRO12 Thomond Park & Musgrave Park)
Full members with combined season tickets will be able to enter a lottery for a ticket. There are 683 members in this category.  Should other groups within Munster Rugby entitled to an allocation of tickets for this match not take up their full allocation then these additional tickets would be added to the MRSC allocation.

This lottery will open on Tuesday next 2nd September at 12 noon and remain open until Monday 15th September at 12 noon.

Please note that although you will be asked to enter your credit card details when entering the lottery, your credit card will only be charged if you are successful in the lottery.

Ticket Prices:
North Terrace     €;32
West Seats         €;45
A standard transaction fee of €;2.50 will apply.

We expect to notify those members who are successful in the lottery within a period of 2-3 days after the lottery closes.

Full members with Single Venue (PRO12) Season Ticket
Should any tickets remain from the lottery for Full Members with Combined Season tickets they will be offered to Full Members with Single Venue season tickets through a lottery.

Guinness Series 2014 – Autumn Internationals

Ireland v South Africa, 8th November 2014 at AVIVA Stadium, KO 17:30
Ireland v Australia, 22nd  November 2014 at AVIVA Stadium, KO 16:30

The MRSC will receive an allocation of 400 tickets for the Ireland v South Africa and Ireland v Australia matches.  Due to the small number of tickets and previous high demand among members for International tickets, we have decided that these tickets will be allocated through a lottery rather than an open sale.

This lottery will be open to All Full and Associate Members from Thursday 11^th September at 12 noon and will remain open for 2 weeks, until Thursday 25^th September at 12 noon.

Having looked into our sales history, over 90% of orders previously for International tickets have been for 2 tickets per member.  As a lottery must be set up for an exact quantity of tickets, we have decided that each entry to the lottery will be for 2 tickets.

In the interest of fairness to all members a member cannot be successful in both lotteries – members can enter both lotteries, but should you be successful in both, your tickets for the second match, Ireland v Australia, will be cancelled automatically.

We have not received our exact seat details yet from the IRFU so we cannot guarantee seats side by side, but will endeavour to seat people side by side where at all possible.  Please note that the Aviva Stadium has many rows with an uneven number of seats so it is highly likely that we will not be able to match all tickets in pairs.

Premium €;80 per ticket
Category 1 €;65 per ticket
Category 2 €;55 per ticket
Category 3 €;40 per ticket

The ticket price when entering the lottery will be for the highest price (for 2 tickets combined) but if you are successful in the lottery your credit card will only be charged the value of the tickets allocated to you.
