Upcoming London Branch AGM

The London Branch of the MRSC will hold it’s AGM on Saturday June 14th at 5.30pm in the Central London base Rudds (148 Queen Victoria Street, London, EC4V 4BY). Ireland play Argentina at 19.40 on the same night so the AGM will be held before this match.

If anyone would like to put themselves forward to stand for the committee or indeed to provide more active help next season, then please email your details to mrsclondon@munsterrugby.ie. Nominations must be received before 5pm on the 5^th June.

Additionally, if any members would like to submit a motion for discussion on the night, email the above address also before 5pm on the 5th June.

Committee Roles (with brief description):

• Chairperson: Main contact with parent MRSC/Munster Branch. Helps out in all other committee roles. Manages the official email account.
• Vice-Chair: Main contact with all London venues. Helps the Chair in ad-hoc projects/ deputises for them in their absence.
• Branch Development Officer: Tasked with raising the profile of the Branch.
• Treasurer: Prepares Annual Accounts, regular reconciliation of bank account and makes all payments on behalf of the London Branch.
• Secretary:Takes minutes of all committee meetings.
• PRO:Promotes the club via social media and produces newsletter. Produce marketing and advertising materials.
• Social/Events Secretary: Plans and Organises several social events every year.

For any members who wish to help out actively, but may not have the time to commit to an executive role, we also have a “general help” list of people who are willing to help out on an ad-hoc basis throughout the season. Please let us know if this is of interest to you as we are sure many members will have professional expertise that could be very valuable to help develop us further.
