From this season, all Full Members will be obliged to purchase Heineken Cup pool tickets as well as a RaboDirect PRO12 Season Ticket. WHY As a Club, the MRSC has, on an annual basis, purchased the same quantity of Heineken Cup tickets to match our Full Membership numbers. The demand was such that, in the past, almost every Full Member took up their option to purchase Heineken Cup pool tickets even though this was optional. In the last couple of years, the extent of Full Members retaining their membership and purchasing RaboDirect PRO12 Season tickets but NOT purchasing Heineken Pool tickets has grown. This has put the MRSC at risk of having unsold tickets. The MRSC cannot continue with this risk and so cannot continue to commit to these tickets unless the members in turn commit to purchasing them. Therefore, from next season 2013/14, all Full Members must purchase Heineken Cup pool tickets. PAYMENT PLAN In current economic conditions, we understand and appreciate that some Full Members will find it difficult to retain their membership, their RaboDirect PRO12 season ticket and Heineken Cup pool tickets. To assist in spreading the financial burden, this season we have extended the payment plan over 6 months rather than 3 months previously. OPTION – THIS YEAR ONLY For this renewal period only, we are offering Full Members the opportunity to change from Full Members to Associate Members and retain their membership number. This will allow those Full Members who are unable to commit to Heineken Cup pool tickets to revert to Associate Members. It will also allow such members to revert back to Full Membership in the future should circumstances permit.
