PJ hails from Fermoy, Co Cork and first joined Munster Rugby as an intern with the academy structure in 2011 and progressed on to finish his internship with the senior team.

From there he went on to a part time position as a Sub-Academy Fitness Coach in 2012 working within the age-grade and schools systems. During this time he was also the Head S&C for the Munster U20’s team.

At the beginning of the 2013/14 season PJ moved back to the senior team to take up the position of Strength & Conditioning Coach.
