In Doneraile, turn right for Newtwopothouse which will bring you back onto the Limerick Cork Road Option 2 At Rourke’s Cross (crossroads with disused petrol station Bruree and on to Kilmallock. Pass through Kilmallock for Ardpatrick. After passing through Ardpatrick towards Kildorrery, take a right turn through Glenanaar Woods signposted Castle Oliver Viewing Point ( Note – do not take left turn to Castle Oliver) This is a narrowish road and will bring you onto the Mallow – Mitchelstown road where you can turn right into Mallow. After 5/6 miles on this road, there is a fork where you need to bear left. OPTION 3 More suited to those from East and North Limerick is to travel via Hospital in Mitchelstown and the via new motorway into Cork using the tunnel.
