Champagne Moments 13 Mar

Again, we would like to thank Shaun Payne for taking time to answer some questions from Supporters. ROG has been named captain of Ireland against England. Has there been much reaction in the Munster camp to this? It must be good for the whole team to have a Munster man captaining Ireland. ? Well we’re not surprised because with Paul injured we have had him as captain and are well aware of what he brings to a team in that role. Are you looking forward to the Ulster game? They appear to be a different side since Matt Williams has arrived. Yes I am looking forward to it, everyone is, because we haven’t had much action with the RBS Six nations on. Matt is a good coach and I think he will do a good job there. Have the A Interprovincials been useful to the provinces so far? Of course they have. They give young players the opportunity to get game time at a different level to club game, allows younger guys to take on those who are involved at the professional level. How much time back in the Munster camp will the Internationals players have before the Gloucester game, will many feature against Ulster? The first part of your question needs to be addressed to the IRFU and the second part to Declan Kidney. Have you had any offers from local clubs to tog out once the season is over? I hear Midleton are looking for a handy full back. Its a little bit of a trip from Killaloe to Midleton for training. I am a member of UL Bohs.
