Latest MRSC Ticket Update

Dear Member,

Dear Member,

With the postponement of the Leinster Fixture this week, we wanted to update you before Christmas on ticket arrangements for the URC fixture with Ulster on 8th of January and the Champions Cup fixture with Wasps on the 23rd of January.

All tickets now remain valid for the Leinster fixture, and we will notify you of the rearranged date once we have it.

As you are aware, under the new government measures the number of spectators attending sporting events are to be limited to a 50% capacity, to a maximum of 5,000 people. The measures stay in place until 30 January, but this date will be kept under review.

In order to facilitate the reduced capacity of 5,000 for these fixtures the MRSC will need to run a lottery for members.

As per the MRSC constitution the lottery is open to all members who hold a season ticket with priority access tiered as follows:

  • 11-game season ticket holders
  • 9-game season ticket holders
  • 7-game season ticket holders
  • Overseas members with season tickets
  • Associate members

Everyone who holds a valid season ticket will be automatically entered into the lottery for the Ulster and Wasps games and successful members will be contacted with match details for Ulster by 1PM on the 28th of December.

Successful members will be contacted with details for the Wasps fixture at a later date early January. Each membership with a season ticket will count for one place in the lottery.

Please note, if you have not been contacted by 1PM on December 28th, you will not have been successful and your ticket/s will be voided for the Ulster fixture and you can select one of the below options – Details of these options will be emailed to you in due course:

  • Avail of a refund for the respective game(s) minus your MRSC 25% discount.
  • Claim the credit which will be applied to your account and can be used for additional ticket purchases when they are available.
  • Claim the credit and use it for the 2022/23 renewal of your membership/season ticket.
  • We are also hugely grateful to any members who have expressed their wish to leave any possible refund or credit with the club and this option will be available to any member who wishes to take it.

Please note, if you are successful in the lottery for either the Ulster or Wasps fixture but cannot attend, you can transfer your ticket.

We deeply appreciate your understanding during an increasingly challenging time. We have devised the above process to be as fair as possible to all members and to take into account Christmas hours for our ticketing team.

Thank you for your support.

Have a great Christmas and Happy New Year
