Castres Away opportunity

As Rugby Supporters we are very open in extoling the benefits of having a sport that allows us to collaborate, share and celebrate with Supporters of other Rugby clubs whether on the terraces of the Pro 14 venues to the stands across Europe.

While some of the match weekends often go by so quickly what often remains are memories and friendships that go well beyond the current season, Munster Rugby Supporters have always been a leading light in welcoming away support and connecting with many of them on a friendship level from the moment we meet.

We have seen some amazing return gestures from our peers abroad in the past years – Racing accommodation and collection offers which continues when we draw each other in Europe, Clermont opening their Yellow Army Supporters club for us to be linked up / twinned with and the ongoing friendships this allows, to more recently Exeter making us feel so welcome in Sandy Park and providing many of us with food before the match

Now we have a new offer to share with you – Our Team play Castres on the 14th Dec on the away leg of the European back to back games, 30 mins from Castres is a small village called Lasgraisses, in the past weeks we have received and communicated back & fourth with a gentleman called Hubert and he along with fellow village members and Rugby enthusiasts have offered MRSC members the following:

The group are willing to allow 20 persons to stay with them in their homes over the weekend (Friday – Sunday) of the match and collect you from either Castres or Toulouse airport, deliver you to the game, take you back to the airport on your departure so that we get to share in their village life and to create another chapter in the goodness of Rugby Supporters across Europe
