This match is Munster’s annual Charity Match – with Munster supporting it’s official charities for the season – Diabetes Ireland, and The Alzheimer Society of Ireland.  One euro from every match programme sold will be donated to the charities, so your support is greatly welcome.  The charities will also be presented with signed Munster jerseys at half time by members of the squad.

We welcome the MRSC Choir who will perform before kick-off along with Sinead O’Brien. The Hit Machine will also be with us pre match.

We also welcome the Munster U18 Clubs side, who won the Interpro Championship this year to claim the title for the first time in 13 years. The half-time mini rugby display will feature Waterpark v Cashel and Muskerry v Newcastle West.

The Junior MRSC Guard of Honour will be present to welcome the teams onto the pitch as our flagbearers, these junior members were the lucky winners of a competition in a mail from Junior Club Captain Dave Kilcoyne.

The North Terrace is to be transformed into the North Pole! After his trip around the world, Santa will visit Thomond Park on St. Stephen’s Day. He will be sitauted in the North Terrace and will have goody bags for the first 500 arrivals into the terrace on the day.
