MRSC members were treated to a private tour of Munster Rugby’s new High Performance Centre before Munster took on Leicester Tigers in Thomond Park on Saturday.
The event, which was booked out within hours, took 120 lucky MRSC members around the state of the art facility on the University of Limerick campus.
MRSC Manager Jennifer Kiernan and MRSC Committee members Mark Meehan and Linda Molloy greeted all guests in the Centre's atrium before handing over to Munster Rugby's Philip Quinn who guided members through the facility; starting with the dressing rooms and working up through the building visiting the auditorium, player room, Greencore Group Kitchen, offices and much more.
Members were very impressed with the facilities and had great feedback on the centre's technology, especially the finger print scanners, CompuB Video Analysis Suite, and the remarkable state of the art Bimeda Gym.
