Munster are back in action on Friday night with the visit of Ulster Rugby to Thomond Park in the Guinness Pro12 Series. This Interpro Derby promises to be a real ‘thriller’. Get into the spooky spirit of things with us on Hallowe’en eve with a free Fancy Dress Party prior to kick-off in The Dugout Bar and Fanzone Plaza.

  • Munster Rugby Ticket Offices in Thomond Park (Thurs 10am-5pm, Friday 9am-2pm)
  • Munster rugby Ticket Office Irish Independent Park (9am-5pm) on Thursday and Friday
  • Mobile Ticket Unit at the Fanzone Plaza (East Stand) on match day from 2pm until 6.30pm


Please note that South Terrace and North Terrace will remain closed for this game. All other sections will be open for this match.

Event Information

Enjoy a spooktacular night of rugby at Thomond Park and come along to our free Halloween Fancy Dress Party pre game in the Thomond Park Fan Zone and Dugout Bar complete with ghastly games, frightful fancy dress spot prizes, phantom player appearances, ghoulish goodies and more.

The party is free and open to all children under the age of 16 years and we at the Munster Rugby Supporters Club will be on hand with plenty of prizes up for grabs for best dressed and more.

Not into dressing up? Why not put your rugby skills to the test with the Tackle Cage Challenge, ‘Tak’ Reaction Board and many more or browse through a variety of food stalls, and soak up the atmosphere before heading inside the grounds. We have added some more tasty offerings to this weeks event, with Crepes, Baked Potato’s and Hot Dogs… Great Autumn food to warm you up and get you match ready!

The MRSC will once again be trialling access for members with a West Stand ticket directly from the MRSC Bar. Please have your ticket with you when approaching door 18, all tickets will be checked but just West Stand tickets will be scanned. We are pleased to announce other updates including new signage and the opening of the bar throughout the entire game for members to access should they need to.

Members are encouraged once again to bring a guest to the MRSC bar, we will have a members sign in book so that if you wish to bring a friend you may sign them in just inside Door 18.

Keep an eye out for the MRSC Junior Club Guard of Honour who will be lining the field as the players run out ahead of Kick Off – we hope they have a fantastic time!

Junior Member Michael Byrne will also be presenting the match ball to the referee on the pitch pre-game so be sure to give him a big cheer!

We look forward to welcoming the U11 teams from Clanwilliam FC, Ennis RFC, Bandon RFC and Youghal RFC, when they take to the field at half time.

After the game, all members are invited to join us in the MRSC bar for the Bronze third place playoff between Argentina and South Africa. Munster and Irish Referee John Lacey will be the man in charge of this battle so come along and enjoy the game with us in the MRSC Bar.

Our Munster Rugby mascot, Oscar, is looking forward to meeting all our younger supporters and has been training hard all to week in preparation for the speed, tackle and target challenges. Show your match ticket to enter!

Stadium Information

The stadium turnstiles will be open from 4.00pm, with all bars and food outlets inside the ground open at the same time.

The Munster Rugby Stores will be open at the stadium from 4pm on the East Stand side.
Please note that the new Munster Rugby Museum is open for this game. For Museum bookings, please email museum@thomondpark.ie or phone 061-421109

No one will be able to enter the stadium with alcohol or glass and customers will be requested to remove the lids of any soft drink containers on entering the stadium.

Please do not enter the pitch area at any time and adhere to the stadium ground regulations found here.

There will be stewards and security on site to assist you with your enquiries on the day, and to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely, so please respect their requests.

Traffic & Travel

Limerick City and County Council advise motorists and road users that major road works will operate on Cratloe Road (adjacent to L.I.T. and Woodview) until 5.00pm tomorrow so please allow some extra time if approaching from that side.

Munster Rugby and Thomond Park Stadium wish to remind supporters to please respect the local residents by not parking illegally. Any cars obstructing entrances/exits will be clamped and towed.
