MRSC Match Day Information
Supporters attending the game this weekend will have the unique experience of playing their part in the Red Army while also celebrating the amazing achievement of our international team as both RBS 6 Nations Trophies won by our International Women’s and Men’s teams last weekend will be in Thomond Park.
MRSC Members will have exclusive access to view both Trophies in the MRSC Bar in the West Stand pre-match from 4pm to 4:45pm.
The MRSC, in a continued effort with Thomond Park to improve members match day experience, now have a free wifi service in the MRSC Bar. This will be available from the Connacht game onwards – SSID – Supportersclub.
We have also received a kind donation of a piano, now located in the new section of the bar. All we need now are some pianists! Members are welcome to strike up a tune on our new addition, perfect for a post game music session.
The MRSC, in conjuction with an tOireachtas, will be participating in a Lá Gaeilge for the match day, so get practicing your cúpla focal – more information on the activities here.
The MRSC Bar will be open from 3pm and can be found on the first floor in the West Stand via door 18.

Event Information
As mentioned above, after a fantastic weekend for Irish Rugby, we are delighted to have both the Men’s and the Women’s 6 Nations trophies in Thomond Park on Saturday, with Irish Captain Niamh Briggs also a special guest. Both trophies will be available for fans to view pre-match in the Guinness Dug Out Bar in the Fanzone Plaza from 3pm to 3.45pm, while Supporters Club members will get exclusive access to the trophies in the MRSC Bar in the West Stand from 4pm to 4.45pm.
SEAT, Munster’s official car supplier, are Match Sponsors for the game. SEAT will be handing out free ponchos in the Fanzone Plaza before the game.
Keep an eye out before the game for a special performance by Munster supporter John Horgan, who shot to fame on YouTube in recent weeks performing Bright Blue Rose.
We welcome back Sinead O’Brien who will perform Stand Up and Fight pre-match, along with the Munster Rugby Supporters Club Choir. At half time, we have a double header, with Kanturk and UL Bohemian U11’s playing, and Old Christians and Richmond Girls also taking to the field.
Stadium Information
The stadium turnstiles will be open from 3.15pm, with all bars and food outlets inside the ground open at the same time.
The Guinness Dug Out Bar in the Fanzone Plaza will be open from 2pm.
As well as the two 6 Nations trophies on display, there will be lots of activity in the fanzone including the Bank of Ireland Family Funzone which will be open for our younger supporters.
Live 95Fm will be supporting the event, and there will be plenty of choice in terms of food and beverages, along with live music from 2.30pm.
The Munster Rugby Stores will be open at the stadium – the East Stand store open from 3pm, and the Mobile unit outside the West Stand from 3.15pm.
Please note that the new Munster Rugby Museum is open for this game.
No one will be able to enter the stadium with alcohol or glass and customers will be requested to remove the lids of any soft drink containers on entering the stadium.
Please do not enter the pitch area at any time and adhere to the stadium ground regulations found here.
There will be stewards and security on site to assist you with your enquiries on the day, and to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely, so please respect their requests.
