MRSC London: Bus for Sale Sharks Game in Manchester

The London Branch of the MRSC will be running a bus from Central and North (West) London to Sale (Manchester) on Saturday 18th of October, subject to minimum numbers booking.

The London Branch polled local membership earlier this week and there was a strong preference for an overnight trip given the length of journey involved and the timing of the game. Therefore the proposed service will be leaving early on the morning of the 18^th of October and returning lunchtime the next day.

For those who need or prefer same day travel, an option would be to book the one way bus with the London Branch going up, and booking an evening train from Manchester back yourself (currently priced at £19 after 6pm, earlier trains currently £70 one way as of 3^rd September)

Important things to bear in mind for those considering the trip:

1. There is a Manchester City vs Spurs game on in Manchester the same day, hence the reason for the early travel up and the train back being quite expensive. It is worth bearing in mind, as a result, these trains may be crowded and not your usual rugby atmosphere.
2. Once in Manchester, connection options to the Stadium are not very good. With the increased number of people travelling around Manchester on the day, there is an estimated transfer time of an hour from central Manchester out to the ground on public transport.
3. Match Tickets: Sale Sharks officially open the public sale of tickets on the 15^th of September; Season Ticket holders can also enter the MRSC lottery. Recommended booking area W03 seating/North Terrace for standing to be near other Munster fans if booking direct with Sale.

08.05 Collection point in North (West) London (Crown Moran Hotel, Cricklewood Broadway, our North Ldn Red Experience Venue)
En Route: Short(15minute stop) at one of the Motorway Service Stations
12.00 Expected Arrival to AJ Bell Stadium
13.00 Match kick off
14.50 Match approximate finish
15.30 Departures from ground into Central Manchester official MRSC meeting point.

Sunday 19^th October:

1.30pm: Departure from Central Manchester MRSC meeting point back to London. Same stops as on the way out, with additional stops if on our route also possible.

The bus price is £46Stg (€;59) return, £30(€;38) One way adult, with children ½ price.**
