Guinness PRO12 Fixtures Announced

Please note:

  • All pre-Christmas fixtures will be played at Thomond Park, due to the redevelopment of Musgrave Park. Four PRO12 games for the refurbished Cork venue will be scheduled for the New Year.
  • All Friday games will be televised on TG4, with Saturday fixtures to be broadcast on Sky Sports.

Munster open this season's PRO12 campaign with three back to back Friday night encounters, at home to Edinburgh Rugby on September 5th, travelling to Benetton Treviso a week later, before playing host to further Italian opposition – Zebre – on September 19th (Zebre game will not be televised).
Munster welcome Ospreys to Limerick for Round 4 on Saturday September 27th, with the province playing their first interprovincial game of the season the following Saturday against current PRO12 champions Leinster at theAVIVA Stadium.

Rounds 6, 7 and 8 are an all Welsh affair, beginning with the visit of Scarlets on Friday October 10th, before travelling to Cardiff Blues on Saturday November 1st, while a date and kick off time has yet to be finalised for an away encounter with Newport Gwent Dragons on the weekend of Nov 21/22/23 (Newport game will not be televised).

Thomond Park will stage its first interprovincial of the season when Munster welcome Ulster to Limerick on Friday November 28th, and the province will hope to avenge last season's PRO12 semi-final defeat when they return toScotstoun stadium to face Glasgow Warriors on Saturday December 20th in a game which could feature former Munster centre James Downey.

After a six day turn around, Munster will play host to Leinster at Thomond Park with the St Stephen's Day fixture set for a 5pm kick-off.

Munster will round off the festive season with another interprovincial clash, this time away to Connacht on New Years Day, with the squad then travelling to Italy to face Zebre on Saturday January 10th (Zebre game will not be televised).
