O’connell Makes His Return Tomorrow

Munster A continue their Interprovincial campaign tomorrow Tuesday, March 12th, when they take on Leinster A in UL at 2pm. Munster A have recorded away Interpro wins over Ulster and Leinster this season, and suffered a narrow defeat to Connacht Eagles in Dooradoyle last September. Munster A team head coach, Ian Costello, had the following to say about the upcoming game… "Tomorrow’s interpro v’s Leinster should be a highly competitive game. We have had some epic games against Leinster in the last couple of seasons and with both teams preparing for the QF of the B & I cup in 3 weeks time competition for places should add an extra edge The game will take place in the Bowl, behind the Arena sports bar. All support is welcome on the day. Admission is free. Please take note of the UL parking restrictions and only park in designated cark parks. Paul O’Connell, who has been sidelined with a lower back injury, is back ahead of schedule and features in a side that also includes Niall Ronan, out of Munster action with injury since late November. Munster A: Johne Murphy; Luke O’Dea, Danny Barnes, Ivan Dineen, Ronan O’Mahony; JJ Hanrahan, Cathal Sheridan; James Cronin, Sean Henry, John Ryan; Dave Foley, Paul O’Connell; Niall Ronan, Sean Dougall, CJ Stander. Replacements: Marcus Horan, Duncan Casey, Niall Scannell, Kevin Griffin, Brian Hayes, Dave O’Callaghan, Brian Slater, Scott Deasy, Cian Bohane, Corey Hircock, Sean Scanlon, Johnny Holland.
