Renewals – Lead Purchaser Issues

The Lead Purchaser function was introduced in 2010 to allow members to purchase adjoining seats. It has worked very well at renewals and for ticket sales since then. With the introduction of different season ticket types last year (family packs), there are a number of issues of which LEAD PURCHASERS should be aware of when renewing. These situations arise where the two (or more) members for whom the LEAD PURCHASER is renewing have selected two separate season ticket types (adult, family 2+2, or family 1+1) SELECT SEATS INDIVIDUALLY Having selected an area of the stadium from the map, you will have the option to:

With the introduction of different season ticket types last year (family packs), there are a number of issues of which LEAD PURCHASERS should be aware of when renewing. These situations arise where the two (or more) members for whom the LEAD PURCHASER is renewing have selected two separate season ticket types (adult, family 2+2, or family 1+1) SELECT SEATS INDIVIDUALLY Having selected an area of the stadium from the map, you will have the option to:

  • select seats as a group (default), or
  • select seats individually

    As you have selected two different ticket types, they WILL NOT be in the same area so you should choose SELECT SEATS INDIVIDUALLY SELECTED PREFERENCES ONLY AVAILABLE At the initial ticket type selection page, you will be asked to select the ticket type for each of the members within the LEAD PURCHASER group. Once this selection has been made, such member will be restricted to such a ticket type. e.g. If you select adult ticket for member A and Family 1+1 ticket for member B, then you will receive an error message if you try to select a terrace ticket for member B You can change your initial preferences by pressing Cancel selected tickets and return to previous renewal step at top of the screen. SELECTING TICKETS INDIVIDUALLY On the top left hand side of the Ticket Selection Screens, you will see the names of the members for whom the Lead Purchaser is purchasing. You will generally be selecting in the order shown on the top left. If you wish to select in a different order, click on the name of the person whose ticket you would like to select – that name will then turn YELLOW Once a ticket selection has been made for a member, their name will turn PINK and the ticket details will appear next to the name of that member. If you click and turn yellow a member who has already selected a ticket, you will actually be replacing the already selected ticket. You may wish to check out the renewal procedure as lead purchaser – without confirming payment – to see the variuos options available.
