Bbe Red, Be Loudb

10th November 2011 By Munster Rugby Supporters Club

Bbe Red, Be Loudb

On Saturday, OUR team needs all OUR support. Here is a quote from Paul O Connell from earlier this week… "Last year was disappointing but I think it’s important that the supporters stick with us as well though, you know? There’s no doubt that we have to dig deep in the next few weeks and I think it’s important that they dig deep for us as well in terms of being there with an atmosphere. We really need that. But absolutely, we probably owe them one from last year" Its our first outing in this year’s Heineken Cup campaign, and just as the team steps up for European action, it’s time for every single one of us supporters and members of the Red Army to step up with them. Let us turn Thomond into a SEA OF RED, to welcome back the players who done us so proud in the green down under, and to also welcome our opponents from Northampton. Let us carry into the battle, the flags we have waved all across Europe, to carpet the terraces and stands in waving flags And in doing so, lets us send out a message to all of Europe, that Munster is still here, and Munster are still THE huge force in European rugby. Thomond Park is steeped in Munster Rugby history and let us not give a second victory to a visiting English team in this competition. Lets respect all the traditions that Thomond Park holds so dearly, let us respect their kicker, let us clap his efforts, but cheer louder to drive OUR team on again.. Do not wait until the team take the field to be heard, Let us raise the bar as we have done on so many journeys in the past, let yourselves be heard from the moment you enter the ground. We have always worn the title of the "16th Man " with ease and deservedly so. Let us use Saturday to show Europe why. It’s Heineken Cup, it’s Thomond Park, it’s 6pm on Saturday, it’s what has made Munster and the Red Army infamous around the fields and parish’s of Europe and the World THIS IS MUNSTER, STAND UP AND FIGHT… Filed by Committee and Management 10-11-11
