A Look Back At The Q&a In The Old Oak

The Munster Rugby Supporters Club hosted a Q&A in association with Bulmers in the Old Oak on Thursday, October 20th. There were three players in attendance, Simon Zebo, James Coughlan and Peter O’ Mahony along with head of fitness, Bryce Cavanagh. There were numerous questions put to the panel by MRSC Chairman, Ger Harrington who was MC on the night. When Bryce was asked if he had any Irish heritage considering his surname and Irish looks he jokingly stated that it was "way back along but after the Irish win over Australia". James Coughlan was unable to give a reason where he got the name that he is so commonly known as, "Chucken", other than the fact that he was called this as a child and it stuck. Peter, James and Simon highlighted how nerve wrecking it is waiting for a phone call coming up to team selections. The players also stated how they would never forget their debut for Munster…who they were playing against, where it was and the pride of putting on the red jeresy. During the interval there were numerous prizes given away to the majority of attendees on the night. Edel Conron scooped the first prize of a signed Munster print, two tickets for the Aironi game and post match passes. Others received Bulmers jackets, umbrellas, golf balls and travel bags. A great night was had by all! DUBLIN BRANCH QUIZ NIGHT The MRSC Dublin Branch recently held a table quiz in Break For The Border. They were joined by retired Munster player Barry Murphy and Jerry Flannery. The Dublin Branch were touched by the stories told on the night by people who have lost family and friends to cancer. They were delighted to raise
