Easter Junior Camp 5 May
5th May 2011 By Munster Rugby Supporters Club
Last week the Munster Rugby Supporters Club ran an Easter Camp for junior members. It was held over three days in Musgrave Park. The Munster Rugby Domestic game department provided coaches for the camp. The juniors, ranging in ages from 6 – 14 enjoyed lots of activites such as lep rugby, walk rugby, dodgeball, walk the gauntlet and sumo. These games helped them improve on their kicking, catching and tackling skills. Munster player, Donnacha Ryan made a special appearance at the camp on the second day. He spent time signing jerseys and answered numerous questions from all the kids. On the final day of the camp the kids all left tanned and happy with goodie bags in hand which were full of treats including sweets, badges, stickers & tickets to the upcoming Munster V Connacht game in Thomond Park Stadium this Friday, May 6th. We are delighted that the camp overall was a tremendous success, with the blistering sunshine lended to this outcome. Ciara Meany 05/05/2011
