Planning Application As members may be aware, Munster Rugby have submitted a planning application to Cork City Council for the demolition of the existing West Stand at Musgrave Park and the construction of a new temporary stand for a period of 24 months. Cork City Council website advises that a decision on the planning application is due on 27th April. Season Tickets – Provisional Season Tickets are being offered for sale as part of the Renewal process on a conditional basis. The sale is subject to receipt of planning permission for the temporary stand applied. Season Tickets – If Planning Permission Not Received As members may appreciate, the planning application is being processed. Munster Rugby may need to revise tickets or match locations based upon the outcome and conditions imposed by the planning authority. if they have purchased a Thomond Season ticket, they will receive tickets for Thomond for those matches intended for Musgrave Park – such tickets will be of a similar category to that purchased in Musgrave
if they have not purchased a Thomond Season ticket, they will be offered the opportunity to select tickets for any 4 Magners League matches (excluding Leinster) – at a category similar to that purchased for Musgrave Park
The matches to be played at Musgrave Park will not be set up until the Magners league fixtures are announced towards the end of the summer. Planning outcome will not be known until April 27th at earliest and we will update members with information as it becomes available.
