Lara Munro from Croom, Co. Limerick, has won the opportunity to be match day mascot for the final Heineken Cup pool game in Thomond Park Stadium, Saturday January 22nd. All junior members were asked to submit a poem about Munster Rugby or Munster players. All poems were read carefully and after a long hard decision-making process Lara’s poem was chosen as the winning poem. The poem entitiled "Munster Dreams" can be read below. As well as leading out the team on the Thomond Park turf, Lara will receive a family pack ticket, a jersey and a picture of her with the captain on the day. Congratulations Lara!! Munster Dreams I will always follow our Munster boys in red The joy that they bring is widespread And last thing at night, when I am tucked up in bed The names of the Munster pack go through my head.
