Mrsc 2nd Junior Christmas Party – A Great Success

Our second Junior member Christmas party took place yesterday, 19th December in Thomond Park Satdium, it was a great success. When members arrived into the main party room they were greeted by new Junior Club mascot Oscar and Giggles the Clown who, along with her friends Woodie, Bob the Builder, Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Peppa Pig (and a whole lot more!!), entertained everyone til the party finished up. We had face painting, hair braiding and a colouring table, aswell as giant connect four. The main attraction of the day though was a visit to a special person called Santa Claus and a chance to meet some of their Munster heroes! The day would not have been such a success without our members who volunteered to make sure the day went off without a hitch. A special thanks goes to Christy, Helen & Karen Flanagan, Sue Hayes, Peadar Murtagh, Tom Hannon and Emma Stewart. Noel O’Neill, Eileesh Buckley & Richie Malone. The MRSC committee want to also extend a warm thank you to the Munster players who gave their free time to spend a few hours with our Junior members – John Hayes, Tony Buckley, Damian Varley, Wian du Preez, Jerry Flannery, Marcus Horan, Paul O’Connell, Paul Warwick, Keith Earls, David Wallace, Felix Jones, Ian Dowling and team manager Shaun Payne. We’d also like to thank Giggles the Clown & her crew who provided all the entertainment. Thanks to Brodericks Bars and Ballygowan for providing the fantastic bars and juice bottles on the day.
