Team Mascot Wanted & More

Munster Team Mascot Munster Rugby will meet Benetton Treviso in their sixth Magners League game of the 2010/2011 season in Thomond Park Stadium on Saturday, October 22nd. Anyone who renews or joins as a junior member of the Supporters Club before next Monday 18th October may be selected at random to become team mascot on the day. As mascot to the Munster Rugby team the lucky winner will enjoy the following experiences; – Walk around the team dressing room while the team are warming up on the pitch, bump into their Munster heroes and hear the pre match pep talk. – The winner will receive a family match ticket so that their family can come and witness this unique moment. – The mascot will lead the Munster team on to the pitch with the team captain on the day. – He/she will then walk away with a jersey and a picture that is sure to be pride of place in the family home. Junior Club member, Oscar Leamy O’Donovan, who won the opportunity to be team mascot for one of the pre season friendly games in Musgrave Park, summed up his experience by simply saying that "it was the best day of my life". Jordan Langley(pictured to the right), another MRSC junior member who became match day mascot described his experience as a truly"amazing day". Existing members can renew at the top of this page by entering thier ID number & password, then simply click the "Renew Membership" tab. New members can join by clicking HERE When renewing or joining, be sure to name the new junior club mascot, pictured to the right with this years Junior Club Captain and some Junior Members. Membership closes on midday, November 1st, 2010. Looking to Entertain the Kids During Mid Term? The MRSC Junior Club will be running a three day coaching camp from Tuesday, October 26th to Thursday, October 28th in LIT, Limerick. The rugby coaches on the day will be provided by the Munster Rugby domestic game. The coaching camps have proved to be an extreme success amongst the junior members of the club. Following requests from junior members we are delighted to allow an extra place to be booked so that a member can bring a friend to the camp.
