Munster take on Australia in Thomond Park on Tuesday 16th November at 8pm. The Supporters Club have an allocation of 5,500 tickets for this match. All Full Members and Associate Members with combined season tickets will be entitled to purchase 1 ticket each. Details of how and when to purchase tickets are as follows; 12 noon Thurs 16th Sept – 12 noon Thurs 30th Sept; Full members can purchase their same ticket as they have for the Heineken Cup Home Pool matches. 12 noon Fri. 1st Oct – 12 noon Monday 11th Oct; Full members who have not purchased their same ticket and Associate Members with combined season tickets can choose a ticket from what is available. Full Members please note if you do not purchase your same ticket (HC) by 30th September it will be released on sale to other members. 12 noon Tues 12th Oct – 12 noon Fri. 22nd Oct; Associate Members with Single Venue season tickets can enter a lottery for the remaining tickets. Tickets are priced as follows; Category A Stand – 50 euro Category B Stand – 40 euro Terrace – 30 euro A standard 2.50 euro transaction fee will apply. All tickets will be paper tickets. To purchase; – Log onto www.mrsc.ie – Enter your Membership ID Number and Password at top right hand corner of page (if you do not have your password click Retrieve Password tab and it will be emailed to you) – Click Events – Once you have selected your ticket please ensure you click "Proceed to Next Step" in order to complete transaction (available at top of page) Members can choose to collect their ticket in Cork or Limerick or to have it posted – please note that all tickets will be posted to the shipping address entered at time of purchasing. "Munster was the first Irish Provincial side to defeat a major touring team when they defeated Australia 11-8 in Musgrave Park, Cork on 25 January 1967. Munster were captained that day by Tom Kiernan". "In 1992, Australia, reigning world champions, having won the 1991 Rugby World Cup, visited Munster as part of a European Tour.
