Membership Renewals – Seating Next To Another Member
9th March 2010 By Munster Rugby Supporters Club
In previous years, the seat allocation in respect of Magners League Season Tickets and Heineken Cup pool tickets, as well as other ticket sales, was carried out manually giving consideration for all requests by members to be seated next to another member. Procedures for renewals for 2010/11 will be different. Our software company, Magico, are finalising our ticket sales module which will allow members to purchase upto four seats together and actually select their preferred ticket/seat location. These purchases can be retention of some or all of existing tickets from 2009/10. It is hoped that this ticket module will apply for most future sales to members and will be a benefit in allowing members to purchase seats together. Situations whereby members did not get together in semi-final in Croke Park will hopefully be a thing of the past. To avail of this for renewals, a Lead Purchaser needs to be nominated before 24 March. This can be done by logging in above and selecting Update Profile. LEAD PURCHASER A lead purchaser is a member nominated by another member to purchase or renew on their behalf. When the lead purchaser logs in to renew, they will be able to renew for themselves and upto three other members who have selected the lead purchaser as the member to purchase on their behalf. Then, they will be able to select upto four tickets in the one transaction and so will be able to purchase four seats together. These purchases can be retention of some or all of existing tickets from 2009/10 – see separate news item regarding dates. NOMINATING A LEAD PURCHASER Each member may nominate a lead purchaser to purchase on their behalf. In this first season, the nomination of a lead purchaser may be made from 10 March upto 24 March. If a lead purchaser is selected, only the lead purchaser may renew on behalf of the member – so please ensure that the membership number of your selected lead purchaser is correct. To nominate a lead purchaser, login to this site and update your profile with the membership number of your designated lead purchaser. You can nominate any current member as your lead purchaser provided:
