Special Olympics Ireland Needs 3500 Volunteers

Special Olympics Ireland needs to recruit 3,500 volunteers to help run the 2010 Special Olympics Ireland Games, which will take place in Limerick from 9-13th June. Volunteering at the Games promises to very rewarding and lots of fun! Volunteers will be involved in running every aspect of the Games and will play an important role in welcoming and assisting the 1,900 athletes, their 650 coaches and official delegates as well as over 4,000 family members and friends to Limerick. Special Olympics Ireland needs to reach the target of 3,500 volunteers by the end of February which means that there are only 11 days left for people to register as a volunteer. A series of volunteer information sessions will take place over the coming weeks and we would like to extend a warm invitation to anyone who is interested in finding out more to come along. The information sessions will take place on the following dates:
