FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS I WANT TO PURCHASE A JUNIOR SEASON TICKET FOR MUSGRAVE PARK BUT THIS IS NOT VISIBLE Ticket availability was on a first come first served basis. As of 11 June, all Junior Tickets for Musgrave Park have sold out. All stand Heineken Cup tickets for full members have sold out. There is still limited Junior Season Ticket availability for Thomond Park. WHEN CAN I RENEW OR PURCHASE MEMBERSHIP As of 11 June, Membership is open for new and renewing members. Renewals and New Members will be on the basis on ticket allocation on first come, first served. The closing date is 6th July. I AM A FULL MEMBER AND HAVE PURCHASED A 10 YEAR TICKET. CAN I RENEW AS A FULL MEMBER, WITHOUT PURCHASING A SEASON TICKET THROUGH THE SUPPORTERS CLUB All Full members must purchase a magners league season ticket from the supporters club irrespective of purchases elsewhere. I AM A FULL MEMBER LIVING OUTSIDE OF IRELAND.DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE A SEASON TICKET As per above. All Full Members must purchase a Magners League Season ticket to maintain Full Member status. I SHARE MY EMAIL ADDRESS WITH ANOTHER MEMBER. THE OTHER MEMBER HAS RENEWED BUT WHEN I LOG IN, I AM SEEING THE OTHER MEMBER’S DETAILS This may be due to the settings on your web browser. If you can renew on a different computer, that may solve the problem. Otherwise, please press the log-out button and then clear your cache of cookies – Press Tools – Internet Options – Delete – Delete Cookies Then log-in using the id of the member who has not yet renewed and hopefully you will see the correct details. I WAS A MEMBER IN 2005/6 BUT DID NOT RENEW IN 2006/7. CAN I RENEW USING THE MEMBERSHIP NUMBER THAT I HAD THEN No. Only current members can renew. Former members who wish to join will be classified as a new member and will be allocated a membership number next in line MY NUMBER IS 7XXX. DOES THAT MEAN THAT THERE ARE 3,000 FULL MEMBERS AND 4,000 ASSOCIATE MEMBERS AHEAD OF ME No. There are currently 3,000 full members and their numbers go from 1 to 5,134. Last summer, 55 associate members under this number declined to upgrade to full membership. Members may not have renewed membership and junior members are also allocated numbers in the same numeric sequence. For reference purposes, should all members upto 4,844 renew, membership number 5,022 would be 100th on the waiting list for full membership, 5,921 would be 500th, 7,482 would be 1,000th, 8,987 would be 2,000th and 15,421 would be 6,200th. I WANT TO PURCHASE A THOMOND PARK WEST TERRACE SEASON TICKET AND ALSO HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BRING MY CHILD WITH ME TO MAGNERS LEAGUE MATCHES Junior tickets for under-16’s are available to purchase for the South Terrace at Thomond Park and the East Terrace at Musgrave Park. These are the only areas where the Supporters Club has received an allocation of Junior Tickets. To purchase a Junior Season Ticket, you must also purchase an adult ticket for the same area to ensure that the child is accompanied at all times. If you do purchase a West Terrace (specificied section) season ticket and want to bring your child to a match, you will be dependant upon Junior Tickets being sold for the west terrace (same specified section) on a match-by-match basis. At this time, we are unaware of the liklihood of Junior Tickets for any specified section being available on a match by match basis. THE MATCH TO MEMBER FACILITY ONLY ALLOWS ME TO MATCH WITH ONE OTHER MEMBER. THERE ARE SIX OF US WHO WOULD LIKE TO BE SEATED TOGETHER The matching of members who request to be seated together will be done manually by the Supporters Club office after renewals close. Due to time constraints in getting the season ticket information to the season ticket printers, there is not a lot of time available for matching. As a result, it has been decided to limit matching to 2 members. These two members must both purchase in the same location and also must specify each other’s membership number as a match. With 6 members, we would suggest three matching pairs. We would also suggest that you complete all transactions as close as possible together to improve liklihood of being close together on database that will be used for allocating seating. The match to member facility will only apply to those not renewing their existing ticket. As tickets purchased last season are in blocks, it is likely that seats will be renewed and so it is not possible to match people seating together. I DID NOT HAVE A COMBINED SEASON TICKET THIS SEASON BUT WAS NOT ABLE TO GET TO MATCHES AS THEY WERE SOLD OUT DESPITE THERE BEING SPACE IN THE GROUND Munster Rugby Ticket Office are reviewing the situation regarding the re-introduction of the TicketExchange facility. This will allow season ticket holders who are not attending a particular match can sell their ticket back to another supporter (subject to commission). We do not have full details of the re-sale scheme at this time. I TOOK OUT ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP OVER TWO WEEKS AGO AND AS YET HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANYTHING As advised on your confirmation screen at time of taking out membership, it is hoped that membership packs will commence dispatching at the end of August. With the number of membership packs to be dispatched, we ask for your patience with the processing. I DID NOT PURCHASE A SEASON TICKET AT TIME OF RENEWAL.CAN I PURCHASE IT LATER In previous seasons, Munster Rugby sold season tickets directly to the public but not at the discounted rates available to members of the supporters club. We do not know whether this will be repeated this season. If a member purchases directly from Munster Rugby (if available) at a later date, such information will not be attached to your membership for the purposes of priority for any Heineken tickets that may be available. Members can only purchase through the supporters club at time of taking out or renewing membership. Only such purchases will be attached to your membership details with regard to priority for any Heineken Cup/knock-out/international tickets that may become available. I WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE THE TYPE OF SEASON TICKET THAT I PURCHASED AT RENEWAL/JOINING Unfortunately, this is not possible through the Supporters Club website. The season ticket that you purchased will be recorded as attached to your membership number for the season I TOOK OUT NEW MEMBERSHIP INSTEAD OF RENEWING. CAN YOU CHANGE MY MEMBERSHIP NUMBER TO MY ORIGINAL NUMBER No. The only way to maintain your existing membership number is to renew your membership which you can do by logging in on the box on the right. CAN MY CHILD BECOME AN ASSOCIATE MEMBER Associate membership is open to people of 16 years and over only. SHOULD I WAIT TO RENEW UNTIL I HAVE BEEN CONTACTED TO BECOME A FULL MEMBER In the event that some full members do not renew, those associate members who have renewed and are at the top of the associate membership list ( lowest number not yet offered associate membership from this renewal season is 5,134) will be contacted and offered full membership. This will not happen until July and such associate members will be asked to pay any difference in membership and to purchase a season ticket if they have not already done so. If you are an associate member who does not renew, you will not be contacted and offered full membership as you will no longer be a member at that time. LOG-IN INCORRECT Members are reminded that the original pre-set password is in the format of letter number letter number, etc. There have been a number of mix-ups between 1, I, l, 0 and O. To avoid any possible confusion, we recommend that you copy and paste your password from the email into the log-in box. I DO NOT KNOW MY PASSWORD Press the link called Get Your Password in the log-in box to the right. When you enter your Membership Number and email address (both as they exist on our system), your password will be automatically sent to you. HOW DO I CHANGE MY PASSWORD TO SOMETHING THAT I WILL REMEMBER EASILY If you log in and press the UPDATE PROFILE tab, you will be able to change your password CAN YOU CONFIRM IF MY ORDER WAS PROCESSED Due to time constraints any request to Jennifer for such confirmation may not be replied to promptly. You should receive a confirmation email after your transaction. If you do not receive a confirmation email, we suggest that you try to renew again . The system is programmed to allow only one renewal per member so if you can renew, you previous order has not been processed and if you cannot renew, you previous order has been processed. In the case of a new associate member, please contact Jennifer if you have not received your confirmation. To allow for verification of your request, please provide as much detail as possible
