Mrsc Bar Update

Bar Update. Bar on Schedule for opening Jan 16TH. Entrance to the bar will be via entrance doors just beyomd Bohs Pavillion. Members wishing to access the bar should proceed beyond UL Bohemians pavillion, the bar will be signposted and the bar is located directly over UL Bohemians Pavillion. Over the past few months the committee have been approached by Members and asked about the location and status of the proposed MRSC Bar and Function area in Thomond Park. It was originally envisaged that this bar would be open for the Home Glasgow Magners League Game. Owing to circumstances beyond the control of the committee and Munster Rugby, this date passed without the bar being open. A subsequent date of November 18th, All Blacks game was then set as the target deadline. Once again, outside of the committee’s and Munster Rugbys control, this was not met. The delay in completing the area is attributed to an initial quotation on the cost of fitout being revisited. A subsequent quote has now been received and approved by the supporters club manager and committee. This quote is substantially lower than the original quote. Approval by the Thomond Park Stadium directors was granted prior to Christmas and the bar is now on schedule for opening on the day of the Sale game Jan 16TH. We would like to thank members for your patience and are confident that once finalised and completed, this bar will provide members with a facility second to none in Thomond Park.
