Mrsc Choir First Performance
14th November 2008 By Munster Rugby Supporters Club
The MRSC Choir are delighted to announce that their first performance will be on Tuesday evening November 18th, performing in the Dugout before the match. We will perform a selection of our repertoire, including rugby classics, gospel & doo-wop! We will then take to the pitch and be support to Cara O’Sullivan prior to the game. Set up in the second half of last season, the choir has grown to 41 members. The commitment of members involves attending rehearsals in either Cork or Limerick and travelling once every three weeks for a group rehearsal in Charleville. Build up to our first performance has been exciting and extremely enjoyable. Later in the year, the choir hope to travel to Swansea, to meet up with the Ospreys Supporters Club Choir. The choir is not just about the singing. The craic and the social aspect is vital to the enjoyment factor. We hope that those of you in the dugout bar and in the stadium will support us on our first of hopefully many performances. Filed: Ian Buckley 141108
