Art Exhibition In Limerick

A member of the Supporters Club, Ger Mallen has an Art Exhibition taking place in Limerick as outlined in the press release below. Some of these works are on display at the moment in the redeveloped Thomond Park Stadium. An exhibition well worth a visit. RUGBY -The Popular Side Limerick City Hall will play host on the 8th -21st of November to an art exhibition entitled RUGBY – The Popular Side. The artworks on display represent images of great moments and players in the history of Munster and Limerick rugby, (with also a nod to the All-Blacks). More than 20 paintings and a large number of Cartoons will be on display, including ‘Welcome To Limerick (Chabal’ and for the kids or anyone inclined to try their hand, there will be a large installation entitled ‘Drawing Doug’ which will give step by step instructions on how to draw a cartoon of Doug Howlett. This installation will be donated to the Ark Unit for sick children, after the exhbitition. While many of the images on display feature the current team members, there will be also a number relating to the past and the tradition of Munster club rugby and to the Munsterfans.
