Sarah Is Mascot For Final
23rd May 2008 By Munster Rugby Supporters Club
Sarah Murphy, a junior member of the Supporters Club, is living her dream tomorrow when she runs out onto the Millennium Stadium with the Munster team. Sarah is hugely excited about sharing the turf with her heroes Doug Howlett and Peter Stringer. The sixth class Beaumont Girls School student is a keen rugby fan and this will be her first even Heineken Cup Final. "I’m so excited to be running out with Paul O’Connell and the rest of the team on Saturday," said Sarah. Sarah has her kit bag packed for the big day with her navy jersey and she will spend the 80 minutes praying for a Munster win. She will also, naturally, be very nervous to be stepping out on the field in front of 70,000 supporters. She is looking forward to a huge celebration at the end of the game as she is fully confident that Munster will capture their second European crown. "I’m really looking forward to the game as it is my first time in the Millennium Stadium and I know the lads can win". Filed by Jennifer Kiernan 23 May 08
