On Wednesday next 30 January at 18:00 at the Montenotte Hotel in Cork, Mr. John Feehan, Chief Executive British & Irish Lions Rugby Ltd will make a presentation to the Marketing Institute on: Marketing in Sport Mr. John Feehan, Chief Executive of the British & Irish Lions Rugby Ltd. was born in Dublin in 1963, John was educated at Christian Brother College, Monkstown and then Trinity College, Dublin, studying marketing and then a post grad in Computers and Statistics. John played as a tight-head prop for various teams including Old Belvedere, Trinity, Old Wesley, Irish Universities, and Leinster. Coming from a sales, marketing and commercial background, John has worked with a variety of multi-nationals, including Cork company Beamish and Crawford plc. and was appointed Commercial Director in April 2002 of the Six Nations and of the British & Irish Lions Rugby Ltd. Appointed Acting CEO six months later, he was officially appointed CEO in February 2003 Mr. Feehan will share his experience on running The British & Irish Lions Ltd.
