Again we are delighted to receive the thoughts and opinions of team manager, Shaun Payne. Doug Howlett paid a visit during the week. How good was it to meet up with the man targeting to inherit the shirt that you have held. It was really good to have Doug over, he is a quality player and will add a lot to Munster. I had the opportunity to chat with him for a couple of minutes and I am sure he will have no problems settling into the squad. It has given the lads a lift to know that we have a player of his stature joining us in few months. Glasgow have a similar start to us with two losses and two wins but have had only one loss at home since last January. How important is it to get a victory and start a good run this weekend. We have had 2 losses on the trot now so it is obviously important that we get a result on Friday night! We also have many of our world cup players back and we need a good result to facilitate their reintegration into the squad.
