B Junior Club Coaching Camp. Great Successb
16th April 2007 By Munster Rugby Supporters Club
On Saturday April 14th, the Munster Rugby Supporters Club had it’s first rugby camp for it’s Junior members in Colaiste Stiofan Naofa, Tramore Road, Cork. With over 90 participants, the day was a huge success. Members were divided into different age groups. In the morning, coaches taught members new skills, and after lunch games were played within each age group. We were all surprised when Peter Stringer showed up to sign autographs and get pictures taken with each group. Members also had their photos taken with the Heineken Cup Trophy. The MRSC committee would like to take this opportunity to thank CSN for use of their facilities,Patrick Collins and Fiona Murphy from the Munster Rugby Development office and all their coaching staff for helping make the day a huge success. We hope to run similar events in the future in different locations around Munster. Be sure to open the next issue of Red Alert to see photo’s from the day.
