Flying Flag In Llanelli

28th March 2007 By Munster Rugby Supporters Club

Flying Flag In Llanelli

Our Flagmaster General, Robert Gloster, plans to fly the Red Army Flag as the Munster Team come onto the pitch at Stradey Park on Friday evening. The flag will be flown on the uncovered East Terrace where most of the Supporters Club’s ticket allocation is based. The plan is to raise the flag and hold it in situ over the crowd for about 90 seconds. We do not want to surf the flag on the terrace as this will make recovery of the flag difficult. Your usual co-operation in flying the flag will be greatly appreciated. In addition, if you have a smaller Munster flag that may have been handed out to you at another match, we would encourage you to bring it to Stradey Park with you to help maximise the colour support for the Munster team on the pitch. Any bodhrans, drums, pipes would also be appreciated to raise the support levels even further.
