e have received the following message from Limerick City Council: Limerick City Council requests that motorists travelling to all matches park their vehicles in a responsible manner with due regard for local residents and the access requirements for service and emergency vehicles. Note in particular that it is the policy of the City Council to photograph and issue fixed penalty notices in respect of vehicles parked on green spaces and where consequent damage to green areas is established, to seek to recover remedial costs accordingly. Advertisers and promoters are advised that the distribution of flyers or handbills and the erection of banners or signage are expressly forbidden on any public roads, footways or green spaces in Limerick City.
