Bfc’green’update – Huge Increase In Membership Of The Supporters Clubbfc

The opportunity to become a Member of the Supporters Club recently opened on 1st June for next season . The option for existing Members to renew and new Members to join ceased at Midnight on 30th June. We have been overwhelmed with the number of new Members who choose to join the Club. We have had almost 5000 new members join. This is going to bring out total number of members to nearly 9000 for the 2006-2007 Season. We expect all new Associate Members to become full members when Thomond Park is redeveloped. In addition to the increase in Membership, we are delighted to report that there has also been a significant increase in the number of Season Tickets sold. This all augers well for Munster Rugby next season. Successful teams need adequate funding to attract and retain the best players.
