Limerick Co-ordination Office Ticket Competition

WIN TWO TICKETS TO MUNSTER MATCH BY PAINTING LIMERICK RED WANT to win two precious tickets to Munster’s Heineken Cup semi-final clash against Leinster and an overnight for two in the Clarion Hotel Liffey Valley? All you have to do is rally behind the Munster rugby team and show your support for them by dressing your shop window or home in a sea of red. The Munster Rugby Best Dressed Shop and House competition aims to show just how important rugby is to the city, Limerick Co-ordination Office City Centre Co-ordinator Andrew Mawhinney said. "Now that O’Connell Street is covered with Munster flags we hope the local businesses and families will rally around the team and transform the city into a sea of red support for them," Mr Mawhinney added. This competition is also an opportunity for people to do up their premises. "We hope people will make the same effort they have made in recent Christmases to decorate their businesses and homes," Mr Mawhinney said. The Limerick Co-ordination Office is running the competition is association with Limerick Live 95FM, the Limerick Post and the Limerick Leader. All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning the two precious tickets to the MunsterV Leinster clash on April 23rd and an overnight for two in the Clarion Hotel Liffey Valley is: * E-mail a picture of your house/shop to info@limerick.ie or drop the picture into the Limerick Co-ordination Office, 50 O’Connell Street, Limerick. * Include your name, address and contact number in the e-mail. * State clearly whether you are entering the best dressed shop or best dressed shop category. * Closing date is April 19th 2006. The best three entrants in both categories will be judged on Thursday April 20th. And the winners will be announced on Limerick Live 95FM on Friday April 21st. Limerick will also be out in force next Saturday to support Munster in their Celtic League clash with Edinburgh Gunners at Thomond Park. Mr Mawhinney said: "We hope there will be a good turnout on Saturday to give the lads a good send-off before their crucial Heineken Cup match."
