Please forward your messages of support to the London Irish message board There lies in a very small part of a very small island off the south coast of England five passionate members of the Munster Supporters Club. London Irish will always be our first love but Munster is our new love. I cannot explain the fun your wonderful gifts have caused – two teenage girls flouncing around in new tops and the dog getting extra walks so I can show off my scarf and hat. In amongst all this is Jack cuddling the Stag and bouncing balloons with a big smile. We have had so much love and support from your club it feels like we are all old friends. I will be looking out for the red of Munster at Twickenham on Saturday – it will be strange to leave him but apparently the day out will do me good. As for the future, it remains uncertain. Jack’s cancer is in the worst place in the brain and has grown dramitically over the past few months. However he has met this with a real energy and determination to grab what he can from life. I sometimes feel humbled by his bravery and more than a little ashamed of my weaknesses. But as you wonderful people say -" To the brave…….." Please send our love to all 427 juniors and the thousands more at the club. We are hoping to come back to Ireland in the Summer and it would be great to thank you in person. Until then. Gordon ( Jack’s daddy) ORIGINAL NEWS ITEM Jack Wakefield is a supporter of London Irish rugby club. He is three years old. He is very brave and strong. He continues to show a true fighting spirit.
