Please note that the closing date of 24th March printed on application form does not now apply but members are advised to return your application as soon as possible as this offer will go to the public this week. Members who take up the Ten Year Ticket can remain members of the Supporters Club. Alternatively you can choose to become an Honorary Member which would mean that you pay no Membership Fee and do not receive Heineken Cup tickets from the Supporters Club but would continue to enjoy the other benefits of the club i.e. discount scheme, newsletters etc. By now you will probably have heard or read in the media that the re-development of Thomond Park into a 26,000 capacity stadium is now planned to proceed. This is an important and exciting development for the future of Munster Rugby. As part of the funding strategy, Munster Rugby have decide to sell a limited number of 10 Year Tickets. These tickets will be for premium seats in the new East Stand, and will entitle the holders to attend all Thomond Park Celtic League and Heineken Cup matches. We are happy that these 10-year tickets will help fund the new stadium which will allow more fans and members of the Supporters Club access to Thomond Park on matchdays. As outlined at our AGM, our goal is for 10,000 members of the Supporters Club all having season tickets and entitlement to tickets for Heineken Cup matches. We believe that the new stadium will make that goal achieveable. The full details of the benefits are contained in the attached file. We would encourage you to open and read this attachment. IMPORTANT – Munster Rugby is in the first instance offering these tickets to members of the Supporters Club and the Munster Rugby Clubs, in appreciation for their continued support of the game in the Province. If you intend to take up the offer of a ticket, you should do so immediately. tickets will go on Public/Corporate sale in about two weeks time, and we would expect that once this happens, that the tickets will be sold out very quickly. For members who wish to take a loan to finance the purchase of tickets, we can advise that most of the major financial institutions have been informed of the scheme.
